Putting Things in Perspective

This installation was a collaboration with Réka Mózes while participating in the 9th Real Presence Workshop in Belgrade. The project was based on a photo that had caused a storm of outrage in the Arab blogsphere where children were drawing on bombs with markers. They saw more than the explosives, which then ceased to exist purely as firearms. The final object fulfilled a similar purpose. The bomb was prepared as a surface to leave marks on. The opportunity to interact via such an emblematic object leads to decisions about purpose, meaning and interpretation. The piece evokes questions in this line, letting viewers form further questions, leaving them with elusive answers.
